Bush and the Strategic Petroleum Reserves
Kerry seems to think that President Bush is not doing his job because he will not dip into the Strategic Petroleum Reserves to aid in reducing the prices of gas. President Bush came back with a strong front in saying that we will not dip into the Strategic Petroleum Reserves.
I applaud Bush's ability to not cave in to Kerrys politics. It shows me that he is in charge. He is not running around asking people, "What will make me popular? What will get me reelected?" He has an agenda and he's sticking to it.

Gas prices
I am so tired of how Kerry seems to point every issue we have in the direction of the presidency. I can't believe that he would blame gas prices on President Bush. There isn't a president around that could do anything that would help the gas prices. Every summer they get higher. And I even heard the last time that gas prices were going up to the prices they are at Kerry indicated that there was really nothing that can be done about it. So now he's contradicting himself. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Everything he seems to talk about is different then how he felt before he started running for President.

Well I'm finally getting a better grasp of Object-Oriented Programming.
It's an easy concept but putting it into effect is hard when you don't know
exactly when to use a class. I keep telling myself, "Will this be used
again and again?" That seems to help a bit but it's still hard. It doesn't
help that I'm having to learn .NET as well.
Photoshop
I learned a new technique that gives a photograph the look and feel of a
pencil drawing. I'm still tweaking the results but when I feel it's clean
enough I will post an image.
Picture Gallery
I'm hoping to get a picture gallery up and running soon. I will post the
link here as soon as I have some content on it. I want the overall look to
be clean and non-distracting from the images. Maybe a line mustard color or
flat green. I'm don't know. Any suggestion are welcome. I like this site more for the photos then
the design but she has some good ideas. She used to have a better design
but I don't know why she changed it. I guess she got tired of the look. Who
knows. I'm going to have to come up with something.

I'm thinking I might do a couple of them without making an entry until I feel comfortable with my ability. Sounds like I'm afraid of my talent.

Life as usual
Work
Another week another day to get some more work done. It's starting to become real old lately. I feel like I am needing a change. I have been here now 7 years and I am wanting to move on to something more challenging. Maybe something with a better management skill set. We seem to drag our feet on what I would consider important but it's only because of the politics involved. I want to be able to do my job because I know what I'm supposed to be doing.
The way things are right now, I'm flying by the seat of my pants because I can't get anyone to make a decision about anything. It's just so annoying at times.
Play
I loved Halo night. We played until about 1:45 in the morning. I got so much better the longer we played. The games got longer as well. We ended up changing to a free for all level just to make things interesting. It really showed me how much work I need to get better at playing. I'm good when it comes to sniping and driving but one on one fighting I need help. I need lots of help.
